👋 Hi! I'm Duncan Leung, a software engineer based in Irvine, California.

This is a place for me to document what I'm 📚 learning, 👨🏻‍💻 building, and 👨‍🔬 exploring - and it's become a reflection of my career path and interests. For more information about my professional background, check out my LinkedIn profile.

I currently lead Frontend Engineering at Airvet, and my team focuses on building the core web platforms: internal tools, Veterinary Chat platform, and Parent Chat platform. Most recently, I've been developing AI tools to assist our veterinarians and exploring ways to integrate AI into our platforms.

My background in Industrial and Enterprise Systems Engineering (University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign) combined with my prior career in Product Management has laid a foundation and passion for creating engaging digital experiences.

When I'm not coding, I enjoy building communities and mentoring others. I previously organized Hacktoberfest (Orange County) and Lean Startup (Shanghai), and served as a startup mentor at Chinaccelerator and industry mentor at a local coding bootcamp in Orange County.
