Photography Gear – Canon Love

Here’s a look into the equipment that I use.
Most of the time when I’m traveling, I’ll just take my 24mm f/1.4L and Tamrac Adventure 9 (an awesome backpack that distributes the weight very nicely and doesn’t look like a camera bag at all; which is nice because I don’t want to carry around a bag that advertises that I’ve got equipment in my bag). Sometimes I’ll bring my 50mm f/1.2L along, but I usually find that I don’t really need the range because I enjoy shooting wide when I’m traveling.

For those who are looking for that ‘one’ lens that is awesome for traveling, I would actually recommend the Canon EF 16-35mm f/2.8L II. Definitely my favorite travel lens (and, yeah, it’s not in my gear bag- that’s because I fell in love with prime lenses, and now that I’m not shooting extensively, I have to watch my budget).
