It&#8217;s definitely a biting blow to Plurk, since their service was first suspended/blocked in China, only to have Microsoft China create a blatantly similar service.</p>
<p>The latest update is that Microsoft has admitted to stealing code, and have since taken the service down. You can read more at <a href="http://www.guardian.co.uk/technology/2009/dec/15/microsoft-plurk" rel="nofollow"  target="_blank">guardian.co.uk</a>.</p>
