Playing With QR Codes – Because Chicks Dig Guys With Bar Codes

So this is another extremely delayed post- shoot, I don’t even remember when was the last time wrote a post.

I find it so hard to write these days. Work has been pretty ridiculously crazy, and so by the time I get back home, I just want to veg out and I don’t really want to think of things to blog about; especially with all the ‘lazy’ sharing methods at my disposal, such as Foursquare and Google Buzz- I’d rather just ping out my location, or buzz in a random update of what I’m reading on Google Reader, rather than write up some blog post about my thoughts on the subject.

Anyhow; here’s a really quick update in list format:

- Chinese New Year in Beijing was the craziest experience; it seriously felt like I was living in a warzone
– I got the flu over Chinese New Year; I crashed my friend’s place closer to central Beijing. The thing about nice apartments in Beijing is that they look really nice, but construction standards here in Beijing are pretty shoddy- so there are these nice big windows, but the windows are single paned with bad insulation, so my friend’s place was freezing! And… I ended up getting sick, heh.
–  I’ve been playing around with the Motorola Milestone from work; I’ve pretty much fallen in love with the Android OS. I was hoping that we’d get a Nexus One test device in from the UK, but alas- we didn’t get one.

That pretty much sums up what I’ve been up to the past few weeks. I mean, there’s a lot more that’s been going on at work- and the first thing I think of when I think of work, is Google Analytics and Regular Expression syntax code, but I won’t bore you with that junx.

One work related thing that I will leave you all with, though, is this:

It’s my Business vCard in QR (Quick Response) code. Just something else that we’ve been playing around with at work. Read the above QR code with your cell-phone with a application like Kaywa.

Thats all folks! Until next time.

I tried to "read" the QR code with my iPhone, but it wouldn't read...
