Two Week’s Notice (or more like one) – End of SEM/Social Media Internship

December 15, 2009

in Journal

Well, I put in my notice that I won’t be continuing on with SagesGroup after my internship. It was a really really difficult decision because they made an extremely generous offer, and I’ll be leaving some great friendships at MeshTop- but I’ll definitely hope to keep in touch with them.

I’ll let you guys know where I’ll be working next in another post; but I will still be staying in the same digital marketing industry; it’s strange how things turned out- having just graduated in 2008 with my Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering; four years of suffering through engineering, only to end up in this industry, heh.

I’ll be finishing up my internship on Friday of this week, which will give me a week to catch up on some personal projects before I head off to Hong Kong on December 29th. I’ll be in Hong Kong until January 9th- it’s quite a long trip, and unnecessarily so, but it was scheduled a couple of months ago when I was still trying to apply for my Hong Kong passport and 港澳居民来往内地通行证, and I had thought that I would need that long for the administration offices to finish processing all my documents. Well, it turns out that I managed to pick up both documents in my previous trip to Hong Kong on November 1st. I guess Hong Kong administration is more organized than China’s administration, heh.

Well, until my next post!

Nice to read this.Merry Christmas beforehead. Also you made a right decision to go to HK for two weeks since these two week will be the coldest time in Beijing. Guess you are more comfortable with tropic weather. Let keep in touch and hope you will get rid of your nickname Ted and me gave you( the Xiao Mi Hu), haha :p
