Microsoft China’s Juku Microblogging Troubles – Stolen Code from Plurk

Soplurk many of you have probably heard of the accusations from Plurk, that their code was stolen and used by Microsoft China’s recently launched microblogging platform Juku. It’s definitely a biting blow to Plurk, since their service was first suspended/blocked in China, only to have Microsoft China create a blatantly similar service.

The latest update is that Microsoft has admitted to stealing code, and have since taken the service down. You can read more at guardian.co.uk.
