A New Start To Duncan Leung Photography – In Beijing

I‘ve been meaning to start this blog for a long time now – I guess even as far back as when I was still in the States.

I encountered a huge dilemma, though, of choosing a domain name for this blog (and my still-in-the-works portfolio). The problem is that I had started up a career blog on Social Media and SEO, and had used the domain name www.duncanleung.com as just a place-holder for my ‘name-plate’ website, and had used the URL www.duncanleung.com/blog for my career blog. I’ll now be in the process of trying to figure out how to move it to a new location at digitalmedia.duncanleung.com. My initial attempt pretty much wrecked the whole structure of the blog. whoops.

I’m not too web/design savvy.

I’m excited for this blog, and I really hope to do more time in photography in Beijing. My first up-coming gig will actually be this weekend on Saturday, October 10th, for the NBA. No, it won’t be covering the game between the Nuggets and the Pacers in Beijing. I have a friend working with the Communications and Community Relations department of the NBA in Beijing, and I’ll be helping her cover her CSR events this season.

If doors open up, I’d love to also work with UNICEF in China – but all that is very preliminary, and I’d better not count my chickens before they hatch (is that how the phrase goes?) heh.
